The Command Instrument Rating Course has been specifically designed to utilise the excellent teaching and consolidation capabilities available through the use of a simulator as a preparatory step to flying the BE 76 Duchess. This means that all required procedures can be safely taught and practised to the required standard
in the simulator before using the actual aircraft, therefore, while safety and learning is enhanced, the cost is reduced.

The BE 76 is fully IFR equipped and provides an excellent and economical IFR training platform on which to
apply all the principles and techniques previously learnt in the simulator.

The cost for the Command Instrument Rating conducted on the Duchess is approximately $14,500 for the
average student but this will obviously vary either way depending on the individual's actual experience,
aptitude and attitude.
